Scope and Application

There are ten guiding Principles that form the basis of R.I.S. CHRISTIE’s Privacy Policy. Each of these Principles are interrelated and R.I.S. CHRISTIE will adhere to them as a whole. All ten Principles should be read in conjunction with the accompanying commentary. As permitted by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), this commentary has been drafted to reflect the personal information issues specific to the manner in which R.I.S. CHRISTIE conducts business.

The scope and application of R.I.S. CHRISTIE’s Privacy Policy is as follows:

Our Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected, used, or disclosed by R.I.S. Christie in the course of commercial activities.

Our Privacy Policy applies to the management of personal information in any form whether oral, electronic or written.

Our Privacy Policy does not impose any limits on the collection, use or disclosure of the following information by R.I.S. CHRISTIE:

(a) non-personally identifiable information;

(b) the name, title, business address and/or telephone number of an employee of an organization

(c) other information about an individual that is publicly available and is specified by regulation pursuant to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada).

The application of R.I.S. CHRISTIE’s Privacy Policy is subject to the requirements and provisions of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), the regulations enacted thereunder, and any other applicable legislation or regulation.
